iPhone X only 10mons to enjoy it

If you update your phone yearly like I do, spending $1149 on the iPhone X (256gb) is a tough pill to swallow. Considering the late launch and you will get about 10mons maybe even less with backorders before a new model is out. Specs are almost the same, the X model just seems like the phone you get to say yes I have it and can afford it (or in most cases finance it).

It just does not seem like enough WOW factor, after about a month of showing it off... it really is just a phone with upgraded specs that will pretty much not be used by the average phone user.

This is what puts me off you can't enjoy it a full year.

Might be better to update next year to the OLED.
