Hi guys,
I'm looking right now on iPhone X unboxing and it look amazing.
I have now iPhone 6S Plus Sliver 64GB, I don't know what to do.
Buy now iPhone X or wait for the next generation
My must concern is the screen.

If you want it now, then purchase it. Just make sure it's something that you truly want and you would not have any Regrets otherwise later on.

Or go on the ATT Next Every Year plan like me, or whatever the other carriers have that's similar and let you upgrade every year, and get a new phone every year. So I'll enjoy my X now and then when the X Plus comes out, I'll enjoy that too. And so on.

I'd like to say that if you are still comfortable with your iPhone in hand then just wait. If you really want to feel iPhone X immediately or your phone is unbearably slow then go get one.
It's the same thing as 2016 and 2017 mbp. When the 2016 mbp came out I purchased it immediately since my 2012 mbp was slow af, even though I knew that there must be a 2017 version with Kaby Lake blah blah blah...
Just follow your heart;)

Before I vote, are you really going to act on the poll voted on by random people whom you don’t know?

This is Macrumors, You would be surprised how many people do rely on Polls to help or assist in making their decisions.

It doesn't sound like you really the X if you're asking us? :)

As for the screen, I'm unsure about OLED. No doubt it will look amazing but there's not a lot wrong with the existing retina display. I had a 6s + and opted for the 8. I was underwhelmed with the X. My own opinion and perspective is that I prefer to just wait out the year and see how the community and Apple reacts to it. I would wait until next year but of course if you always want the best new thing you'll always be waiting for it. I don't think the X is half baked but it's new and I've always opted for a second generation version (the 's' version). I sort of think the 8 is a third gen tbh but it was a big enough jump for me.

Maybe get yourself to an Apple store, hold the X, check it out.

Bunk poll.

There needs to be a 'both' option for those of us that upgrade every year.

I’m in the same situation except I have a 6 Plus that is showing its age but I think has enough life left for one more year.

I have some concerns about Face ID but what is really bugging me is the possibility of an X Plus next year which I will definitely want. Getting an X now and taking a huge resale hit next year does not appeal to me, so I am leaning towards returning the X and soldiering on another year with the 6 Plus.
