Iphone X “Plus”

The only reason people buy the plus models is because they have the better camera, better display and more ram inside. If all else were held equal and size was the only differentiating factor you'd probably have more people opting for the smaller size.

That's why I initially bought plus models...

Now I have an X and I love it

I can’t speak for ALL iPhone fans...but a lot have been saying “I’m tired of the phablet sized phones...I’m ready to use a smaller form factor.” Lol!! But had Apple introduced an IPhone X Plus ALONG with the regular X, you know the X Plus would have been the best seller. Not saying some people don’t like the smaller size. I’m just saying a lot of people don’t have a choice this time around. Apple should have made a Plus version along with regular X. I’m pretty sure those same people would have chosen the Plus version.

at this point that is my dream phone...im digging the x, but somehow just feels a lot smaller, almost like using a iPhone 5 or something...an x plus, hell yeah!

I think what it really was is they didn’t want to launch the + this year cause they wouldn’t have anything next year to launch. 8/8+ X/X+ this year than ? Next year. They had to wait! Plus everything will be much better and figured out for next year when they do the XI/XI+.. lol

I think the OP is wrong about the X Plus selling. Time and time
again. The cheaper “flagship” iPhone has always sold better than the larger plus. So the 4.7 inch iPhone 6,6s,7 have sold better than their 5.5 inch iPhone counterparts.

Money matters to most
Consumers. So if X Plus were introduce along side the X. The X still would sell better. Simple
Economics. Cheaper sells more.

nah.. 6" iPhone X would not be as wide at the Plus..
many people's complaint regarding X vs Plus screen is that the X is too skinny..

in order for the X design to match the screen width of the Plus, it would have to be a 6.4" display..

if it's any skinner than the Plus, i think we'd still see basically the same amount of people not willing to make that compromise from what they've deemed more optimum for their usage/aesthetics.

or--- i think it would take two models to satisfy the largest amount of regular&plus users.

I went from a 6 to 7+ to now the X. I like the X. However, I have people telling me I was stupid and should have stayed with my 7+ or gotten the 8+. Bigger does not always equate to better. I would have to look at the features offered on an X+ to see if it suits me.

fill in the notches/ears.. push the status info into the content area..

some variation of that is pretty much the only way.. unless some technological advancements come soon where the lenses/mic/speaker/etc can happen under the display.

There are other choices. I will trust Apple's marketing choices, they seem to be pretty good about it.
