iPhone X possible gap?

Hello, i got my iphone x today and after some inspection i realized there is a gap on the right buttom between the screen and the metal panel and it looks like dust can go in there. I wonder is this common ?

This looks like a defect, you should return it.

Given that apple charges a premium amount for their phones, you should expect a premium product. I would get the phone replaced, if that happened to me.

I would certainly return it. And Apple won't even contest that defect. Especially given that could affect the water resistance rating as well with the gap.

Just return it and get another one and inspect it in the store before leaving

Looks like it wasn’t machined properly. Definitely something I would return.
