Well… production cannot be the same on each phone…

I love my X and everything works nice & smooth. :)

I just compared my old 7 plus and X, and noticed the X 's power and volume buttons are slightly different.

My X buttons works 100% fine, and is good to use, just curious because noticed in my finger that power and volume + "upper" sides are hint lower (its very hard to even see), and buttons are smoother to push. I don't think that this is producing issue because both buttons (power & volume +) on the both sides are similar on the "upper" corners.

If you push your power and volume + buttons upper corners - are both buttons smoother to push? Do u see any differences?

Mine are very slight compared the 7 I came from, and certainly less defined when touching them. Not sure if it's designed like that, as I have't managed to pop to a store to compare.

Thanks for the reply. :)

If u push your buttons do u hear same ”klick” on all buttons?

My volume+ not give that ”klick”. Its smoot. Luckily it work tho.

I can either compare so I’m curious to see is this a somekind design flaw or just new design.... because my both upper corners (power/volume+) are both smoother to push it sound more a new design as flaw...

Would be nice to hear other users. :)

My side button is less clicky than the volume buttons. Perhaps the bottom half is also lower than the top. That said, the button still has a click sensation, so I’m not inclined to do anything about it.

Just came to home, and looked closer my phone. Yeb! Volume+ is less clicky on the top than below. First I thought its silent corner but luckily not. it gives that click sensation, just with little smoother style :D

I'm happy with my X - all works 100% so nothing to worry about.

Good deal. You can take it to the bank that every Apple device will have some variation in the button clickiness. Just depends on how sensitive you are to the issue. As long as your entire buttonakes a click, it should be good. I’ve had buttons fail in the last, but only when one side was totally silent on press.

:D

I have a little bit a bad habit to look new Apple devices under the zoom lens…

I’m right there with you. In 6 months, we probably won’t remember these small issues.

You’re right mate! A few weeks/months and we probably do not remember anymore... How to learn to live like “it’s just a phone”, and ignored these small things when buying new Apples. :D
