Did anyone have trouble with their order getting marked as fraudulent by their credit card company? I've been trying to get a hold of capital one as they have freezed my account. My order status has changed to awaiting payment... Trying to see if I can re-run the transaction through apple. Delivery date is supposed to be November 3rd.


Update: My CC company removed the freeze at least.

Every year when I get a new iPhone I message my credit card company to give them a heads up, just in case. Only takes a minute and I don’t like to risk being booted to the back of the line.

That's exactly what I did. They also changed my address for me because it was an old one... That's what triggered it, apparently.

I use Chase, and I’ve had them halt my pre-orders before in the past. I’ve since wised up and always call them ahead of time before I make a pre-order purchase now. Also before any international travel.

For some reason, I always have issues with Apple Pay.... But anyway, after being on hold for 30 minutes, everything is fixed and delivery date is still intact. The rep was also very impressed that I had a November 3rd delivery day. He said I'm one of the only two customers he's come across the past two days with launch day delivery... I guess it's hard to put it in perspective because most people on here seem to have launch day delivery... but we're not the norm!

This is one of the best features of Amex. If it thinks the charge is fraud, I get an email with a green “yes” and red “no” box asking if the order was placed by me and is ok to charge.

Yep same here , had a weird dream in the middle of the night and woke up , my watch was going off with notifications from the Apple store app saying an issue with my order...and using Apple Pay

Checked the site , called my bank, tried a few more times with another card and it finally went through. Crisis averted and now we’re st preparing for shipment :)
