iPhone X preorder seems to be running smoother than expected

I just woke up - iPhone X models are shipping in 5-6 weeks. Seems similar to any other big iPhone launch. Those that really wanted an iPhone X and preordered within a few minutes are probably getting their phone in under a month. That’s not bad frankly, especially for a global phone launch.

Means one of two things
1) Undersupply worries were overblown
2) Demand for the X (at least relative to other iPhone options) is less than expected

Outside the US, dates have slipped quickly - not sure whether it is due to ultra-low supply though!
