I've always gone with Gazelle previously, but went with Apple this time because of a higher dollar amount.

Got an email today, saying the value was sent down to $0 because "Operating System Unable to Load Properly".

Anyone run into these problems before?

I've already contacted Apple, they've promised a phone call within 24 hours and an elevated ticket. The phone was sent in working shape, reset to the "Welcome" screen, with activation lock removed (turned FMi off before reset).

Phobio must be an amazing company. Now it's my word versus theirs... and I feel like I'm never going to see the full amount now.

Hopefully you can get the phone back if they won’t honor the original quote. $220 sounds awfully cheap for an X, I thought Apple was offering $500 for a trade in?

Silly me, yes I meant over $520. Apple will ship it back if I don't accept, or if I reject now, but the person I chatted with online said to wait to do anything for now... his one backup strategy was to take it to the Genius Bar, and see if they'll honor it. If the phone somehow became broken, it's still under warranty (until the end of the month). So I may not be totally hosed, but this is still disappointing compared to Gazelle.
