I have been reading some reviews and it sounds like many say iPhone X runs hot.

I have an 8+ that’s great and a 7 that runs very hot randomly, even when it’s sitting doing nothing with all apps closed and background refresh off. It’s so hot that the Apple employee said it burned him - yet “there’s nothing wrong with it” and they won’t replace it.

With that said, has anyone else heard about X running hot? I dread if it does. That thing is too perfect looking to have that issue, lol.

You're posting to a group of people that do not have this phone. What kind of data are you expecting back? Links to the same articles you already read?

How many portraits are you taken in what span of time. I am thinking it is the CPU that is causing your heat, just below the camera. Other who say their X is getting hot while watching videos say the heat is coming from just below the camera.

My iPhone X did get pretty warm at first but now it’s normal and fine.

Are you doing anYthing besides taking images? Have you tried a reboot. Taking 3 images should not heat up your phone. I can take 50 8mages on my 8+ and it hardly get warm. The X should not either.
