In Xcode Simulator I can enable Tabs, but won‘t see them in Safari landscape mode. And the reviewers only review the gimmicks right now.

Will the iPX comes with Safari tabs in landscape or not? I enjoy Safari tabs in landscape on my 7+ a lot and want to have it also on iPX.

Also how about mail. Do we have a the same landscape view like on an iPhone Plus?

Thanks!

I think I saw in the iMore video review, the safari tabs are NOT present like on that of the Plus models. Hopefully there’s a setting to enable/disable.

In terms of UI & size classes the iPhone X will be like the 6/7/8, not like the Plus sized iPhones.

The 5.8 X replaces the 4.7 inch iPhone. Next year the Plus version of 6.4 inches will have the Plus features like landscape.

I wonder why the UI is that of a Plus but form factor of the regular versions prevents UI being like that of the Plus models?

When you say "UI is that of a Plus form factor" - are you just referring to the home screen and such?

I can't recall exactly, but the point width of the screen I believe is identical to the 4.7" iPhone. Much more similar to it I think. Anyway seems like this is the intended replacement for the 4.7, and next year we'll have a larger design as well (rumoured ~6.1-6.4" version of the X).

I think it has to do with the phone not having as much width as the plus. So when the phone is in landscape mode you won’t have as much height. Just my guess

Not a deal breaker at all and I’m not complaining but would have been cool if the iPhone X’s width was the same as the screen on the plus.

Can anyone look on iPhone X if there are tabs in landscape like on the Plus model? Maybe it need to be enabled in Preferences -> Safari -> Show Tabs.

Thank you.
[doublepost=1509734568][/doublepost]Also I want to know if the mail app looks exactly like on a Plus model with the side bar visible? And please don't forget to look at Safari (one posting above).
