Hi , anyone else noticed that on the top left of their phones the screen protector will lift up here before anywhere else.
ive noticed this Happens if I knock the phone , if I drop it it always bubbles up. This is on a tempered glass one. I’ve tried cheap, expensive etc all the same.

it’s not a complaint , more of an annoyance and I’m just wondering if any one knows what’s under the screen in that part to possibly cause this. Funnily enough my mate never believed me, he then got an Xs and has the same issue.

cheers

Sounds like you applied it wrong OR your phone is bent slightly.

hi, nah this happens to EVERY single blooming one. i did wonder if my phone was bent , but apple swapped it out and same thing happens on the new one :)

i just wondered if anyone else had it. its a confusing one.

thats super weird...I think if it still happens to your new devices then I think you might be cursed with the screen protector lift gate

Yeah, that's why i don't use screen protectors. The iPhone glass is plenty strong now since the 6s, so why bother. If you wear a case, you'll be A-OK

Cheers

I have to disagree with that. The iPhone glass is not stronger now and is just as likely to scratch, crack or shatter. For those who want to take a risk that’s their choice. Personally I prefer to use a good quality full screen glass protector. You can’t even tell it’s there and has no detriment to display use.

I’ve never had that problem with the full screen glass protectors I’ve used with my X and Xs Max and now my 11 Pro Max.

I believe they used a stronger glass for the 6s, bot don't quote me on it. Ive dropped my iPhone x several times face first with no protector or case and it still looks mint.

Maybe you’re not as OC as some people? I have (and I know many many others here too) used screen protectors since my first iPhone, I’ve had no issues with the quality of screen, touch etc as long as you buy a good glass screen protector none of that plastic stuff. And I can say it has saved my phones actual screens many times. Easier to replace a protector worth a few dollars than the actual screen.
