I apologize if this has been posted before, but what are some of the best screen protectors for the iPhone X? I’ve already collected a few scratches on my screen & it’s bothering me :/

I always go Zagg. Pricey, but never had one problem with them and the lifetime replacement guarantee is big (even tho you have to pay shipping costs).

I have the Orzly iPhone X / iPhone 10 Pro-Fit Tempered Glass Screen Protector TWIN PACK. Good thing it had two because the first install didn't stick in one corner. The one I have on now isn't perfect but has stayed on the screen with no lifting. The glass is smooth, no input lag that I can tell. I'm the type to put on screen protector and into a case before turning the phone on the first time, so I can't tell you if there's a difference between not having the protector on or not.

Ive found it a nightmare with X screen protectors, they are cut so close to the edge of the display lining it up is a nightmare.

I don't condone apple charging £30 for the Belkin one but when you're spending £1000 on a phone I guess you cant really complain but it is without a doubt the best screen protector ive used, the instore application is perfect and there is no lifting they will replace it again and again until its to your satisfaction

Belkin one- Good, Zagg Sapphire blah, blah blah- ****. I got one this evening and it literally was taken off within two hours. At which time I tried in vein to snap it in two, didn’t, and then I easily scraped it with a knife. Edges are barley beveled, definitely not crystal clear and holds smudges with ease. If it’s not simply plastic then it’s a damn good impersonation of it.

I’m curious how much a full covered screen tempered glass will help with front face drop on slim cases

I’ve had one graze ground and save a screen but never head on

Can tempered glass absorb A LOT of the shock on say like an Apple silicone case?

Thx

I have a orzly full screen protector on with an Apple leather case and it fell screen flat on the floor from waist height. Just a ding on the bottom of the screen protector (not even noticeable unless you really look for it under light). No other damage on phone nor case. You have to be really unlucky to break the screen protector with an Apple case since the case raises a bit higher than the protector I have. You will more likely see damage on the case itself more than anything.

What was the surface of the floor?

And that's good. Do u suspect that's normal practice protection or an outlier of good luck?

This was inside the mall; thus, no damage to the case lifted edges itself.

I have dropped my 7+ with the same setup on uneven graphite floor before face flat and caused minor cosmetic dings to the edges. Other than that, nothing on the phone itself. Apple's case is excellent for accidental drops. I have never had a problem with the bottom being opened.

Thanks a lot! This gives me more confidence in exploring using the silicone as a daily driver

I had the leather on 7+ face first 3-4 feet on cement. Screen exploded.

Tho to be fair no screen protector (never again, went “nude” a few months) and the leather doesn’t have as much padding and the sides, compared to the back, not really at all(super thin there)

The leather case didn’t hold up well either. The lip looked chewed off

I really liked my Otterbox statement and still considering it for protection but so bulky compared to this insignia tpu I got cheap ($20 clear will yellow but looks and feels cool) and this colbolt blue silicone

Wow that would have been quite a drop. Having said that, I've never gone without a screen protector so I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes. With a full screen tempered glass and the leather case on my X, there's no way the phone itself can physically touch any flat surface.

I can't say the same if you dropped it on the side of the stairs or some uneven surface though (this is probably where you dropped it eh).

I have had good experiences with Zagg tempered glass protectors. They do crack/chip over time, but they make utilizing the lifetime replacement an easy procedure.

I always go with the Zagg glass + and have it ordered for the X.

They even let me swap my broken 7plus protector to the x as a replacement.

Totally agree. Once you get a Zagg, you're done. No need to even to look further even for your future phones.

Worth the price tag for me.
