Just cracked my screen and going to the Genius Bar. Was wondering if Apple is replacing the devices or actually performing the repairs to the iPhone X right now.

Someone mentioned on the forum before, replacements. Make sure you're backed up! They will charge for screen replacement only even if you get a brand new iPhone. Probs too early for refurbs yet, so you'll have a new one.

Enjoy your second new iPhone X. I've done the same bro, its all good!

It depends on the store and whether they have screen replacements available. I've read someone who went last week for the pinkish tint issue and genius replaced the screen only as they had them in stock. Still make a back up though, as repairs can go wrong and if they do, then they replace you the whole unit.

At this point, most stores should have the necessary parts to replace your display. Otherwise, they should have replacement iPhones if they decide to proceed with this route instead.
