I was so excited it was coming back to iOS 11.1 because the X doesn't have a home button, but alas it doesn't seem to have it while my 7 does. :(

It’s even easier now, you just swipe along with the home indicator right or left to go between apps. You can even go back more than one app, not just switch between the two most recent. Looks like an awesome feature.

Swiping up and holding is much easier and faster.

You can even swipe diagonally left without holding and it’ll bring up the switcher even faster.

This sucks. I really wanted it back, hoping the long-swipe up will be even better, can't wait to test it out soon.

? Why does that matter? Just swipe right on the home bar. Same thing

More than half the time when swiping with the home bar I go too far and it goes home. Also requires pausing. Old method was one easy gesture. Gonna take some time to get used to being without it.

We have an even better gesture now instead of it though. Admittedly, I never used the 3D Touch app switcher on my 6s Plus. Why? I'm right handed and couldn't reach over the left edge of the screen. Doing so with my left hand was awkward and unnatural for me.
