I'm on 11.1.1 on my iPhone X and for some reason when I go into general it is showing a red circle with a 1 in the middle as it would for a software update.

However when I click it just says software is up to date?

Does your phone download updates automatically? Check in settings > general > iPhone storage and delete it if it's been downloaded then try to update again.

Thanks for the replies guys...

I actually had to power down my phone twice and on the last attempt before calling Apple it showed the update.

Weird but what ever, for some reason the phone just wasn't connecting to the server.

All good now and running on 11.1.2
