So I got the Belkin 15W for the X, and it seems that the phone slides off slowly the charger and also rotates a bit. I tried a few times to make sure.
The phone sits on the camera bump while charging so this might be the reason that it slides.
If the camera bump is off the pad, then the phone stops charging after a couple of seconds (blinks red) as you can see in the video here.

Any ideas before I take this back?

Mine did that - just had to make sure the pad was sitting level. I live in a very old house so the floors aren’t perfectly even. Leveled it out just a tad and now it never slides.

Agreed. The glass on the iPhone X is VERY smooth and requires either an absolutely level charging pad for a case that supports wireless charging. I prefer minimal cases myself, so I have an aluminum bumper case and a frosted tempered glass screen protector on the back of my phone, which solves the problem.

indeed but the problem here was the pad (I suppose not enough "rubber" material to hold the phone). I got the Mophie one and its fine

I was having the same issue with an Anker that I got for Christmas. I think it was the fourth time that I woke up to an uncharged phone that I threw it in a drawer and went back to the lightning cable.
