iPhone X - Space Gray vs Silver ???

I always go for the darker colors, SG or Jet Black, this time around i went with the silver.

Me too, but only because I felt the white bezels were distracting. Can’t go wrong this time around!
After 4 years with silver / aluminium / white iPhones I decided to go back to black and picked space grey (which I won't be seeing for a couple of weeks yet). But I really like the silver, at least on photos and videos so far it looks really good.

I like the PAnda / Stormtrooper look of the Silver one with a white back and black front, looks unique.
The jet black scratched up really easily.

Me too. Apple gave me the space gray I was too shy to ask for a silver. I guess the space gray is not as popular as silver.

I was 110% sure with silver but after seeing the space gray 8 next to a jet black 7 yesterday, I kinda started to fall for the darker color.
I'm content with silver. That paint job on the sg sides can scuff too like the slate iPhone 5. Both are great color options and it's all preferences. No right or wrong here.
I prefer silver because of the shiny sides which harks back to the classic iPods and iPhones designs. But that sg X seems like it has oleophobic coating on the rear and a throwback to the black 4 series. Matches with sg AW.
The sg 8 really did not show smudges. Imagine with off-white? It's going to look clean most of the time. I know the two-tone color looks weird at first and not as seamless, but it's just something different. Jet black 7 and sg 8 looks the same as sg X and I want to change things up.

I am coming from a Jet Black 7. Even though it has been in a case 99.99% of the time, it still has a fair amount of microscratches. I usually stick with black or dark grey phones for the bezel, but I love the silver color on the back. I am very excited to finally have a black bezel phone with a silver back! Can’t wait until I get home tonight!
All personal preference. I know myself, and the novelty of anything other than black wears off after a week, and I always go back to wanting black.
I saw both in person at the store and the silver looks off to me. I've always had black iPhones though.
In the video the black/gray color reminds me of the black plastic version of the iPhone 3G. I hope it doesn't look too much like plastic!
P.S. A pro video should not have so many problems with focus. Too many shots are blurry or focused on the floor and not the phone.

Well, thanks for the video anyway. It's helpful to see things from different angles. the silver looks a lot more "silver" than in other videos/pics. Many of them had white balance off, making it look almost white. I might have gone with the silver if your video was out (obviously could not have been). I think yours shows the silver color better than most.
Nice video! I love all SG colored things from Apple but I jumped at getting the iPhone X in Silver.
