iPhone X Unavailable to Walk-In Customers at Apple Stores in Sales Tax-Free States [Updated]

Because a friend sent me a picture of a whole buttload of iPhone Xs available in some cellphone mall.
The fact that they didn't sell any to walk-ins means excellent availability for in store reservations. You can find most models in stock for same day pick up at WA and OR Apple Stores, while they're completely sold out in most other parts of the country. Even now, at 12:30 in the afternoon, I see good stock at all stores.
