I upgraded my iPhone 6s Plus to an iPhone X and took the iPhone X back.
The screen was way to small. I was spending more money and moving backwards.

I'll just wait it out for the iPhone X Plus.

"Way to small" ? It's a little wider, but a little shorter. Aspect ratio is different, obviously.

Compared to the size comparison tool on Phone Arena that diagram isn’t close to accurate.[/QUOTE]

You picked the wrong model to upgrade to. The iPhone 8 Plus is there for people that prefer larger screen and longer battery life.

New members first post about returning and Apple product and announcing its a step backwards. Everybody can’t wait to argue the same points that have been discussed a million times. Rinse. Repeat.

The only thing more enlightening than the OP is the subject line.

How do I subscribe to your YouTube channel? With content like this you must be a millionaire.

I'll google for that but if you see this first and have a link hand, I'd be interested.

The other point about the graphic I posted is that aspect ratio can matter, depending on what you want to use the display for.

Perhaps you're just not adjusted to the iPhone X display size compared to the iPhone Plus. It's obviously more narrow, which your eyes can perceive that it might be smaller, when in reality it's not.

Right. I still have my 6S+ and laying the phones on top of each other it’s easy to see that the 6S+ is clearly the physically larger phone of the two. But in terms of actual display real estate, the X is slightly larger, not smaller.

The Plus has a slightly larger display in terms of physical area. We all know this based on actual measurements.

Physically, both phones are close. But what tips the scale is the poor utilization of the iPhone X display area. The status bar is twice the height compared to previous phones. There’s blank space at the bottom of many apps like iMessage to accommodate the home bar.

I went from 6s Plus to X not sure if I would like the screen shape. I am loving the X. After a couple of weeks it seems natural and no loss of real estate that affects my usage. My movies look great and the aspect ratio, even with the notch, is excellent for me. Once into the movie, the notch is not an issue. Email, Twitter, News Sites etc render just fine. And, text seems more crisp. Not a move back.

That said, not sure why OP needed a thread for such a short comment. "Way to small" is inaccurate and no other details. And, the subject has been covered plenty to date. IMO

Which is entirely the point of the 14-day return window. You mention this as if OP is being malicious or something.

I think the point of the 14 day return window is to buy it with the intent/hope of keeping it, but with the ability to return it if you decide you don't like it for some reason.

I’m so sick of these ‘this is my opinion posts but I’m going to treat them as facts’ posts.

Start a debate on here (where there are 100s or the same ones already) and then vanish.

Funny you say this, because I'm coming from a 5S and feel the X screen is small. Clearly side by side, the X is a huge difference, but I feel the screen is still too small. I'm also considering returning mine and waiting for the X Plus.
