Has anyone figured out the exact resolution for iPhone 10 wallpapers? Horizontally, it’s an odd beast, it’s an odd number I think I have a perfect fit for the horizontal resolution, but when I choose perspective the wallpaper slide a little bit letting me know that I have the wrong vertical resolution.

Still working to find out what the ratio is for the wallpaper, BUT I’m starting to think it just doesn’t actually work, yet. Much like rotating square wallpaper on the iPhone Plus only JUST started working with iOS 11, I imagine that “getting the wallpaper right” is not high on the iOS developer’s list of things to do.

So, I’m working on two templates, one for Reduce Motion Off and Still and one for Reduce Motion Off and Parallax. Reduce motion on (when I get working on it) will be easier by comparison.

It’s hard to get perfect BUT this is a very close approximation of wallpaper that works.

When you’re setting it, you’ll need to tap “Perspective” even if you don’t want perspective because that moves the wallpaper to the right position. Then, tap “Still” if you want that, then set it.

I’m going to see if I can shave the sides and still have things line up, but for not, just glad I’ve got this far LOL!

This is the narrower template. I believe that the 40px radius fits better, too. Also, either the docs I’ve found are wrong about the layout of the notch OR iOS is stretching the wallpaper slightly.
Anyway, this is a close match, and I’ll test it against future betas to make any updates.
