So where are the cool looking fluid wallpapers that apple has been showing in all the iPhone X commercials? Was really excited to see them on my own phone and they are nowhere to be found.

Nice find but was hoping for them in live format. Guess we got hosed by apple again.

I was wondering about this too. When setting one of the Live wallpapers, if you touch the screen it becomes live, but when you set it, it doesn't move.
Yeah, what's the deal with that? I was excited to use the live wallpapers, but they don't do anything once set. What exactly is the difference between dynamic and live wallpapers? I thought dynamic wallpapers reacted to the motion of the phone, while live wallpapers would move regardless of physical motion, but the latter is just static.

Go here: https://imgur.com/gallery/oSQll, right click on each video and download into the photos app on your Mac (easier IMO) and put then in a new album.

try the free version or buy the IOS app IntoLive (free version but I bough the pro version for more options).

Once you open the app, select the video you want to use. Edit it the way you want and save it.

Go to your wallpaper settings on your phone and Live Photos and it should show up there.

Select it and the rest is history.
