Just got my X today. every now and again It seems to drop wifi. Wifi icon is still active just nothing works that needs net connection. I turn wifi off and on in the phone and all works again for a random amount of time. I have reset network settings. I might do a full IPSW install to see if this fixes it, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this? its on 11.1.1

I have had this issue on my iPhone X. I am very close to the router and every once and a while, wifi icon will drop from 3 bars/full strength to 1 bar or LTE, then quickly back to 3 bars. Happens on multiple networks.

mine is to do with sky Q router and 5ghz networks when it changes access points.. not sure if it works on 5ghz elsewhere as haven't got one to try. But i will get a 169 ip address from it. can see others have the same issue as well, so might be a fix.

I also get the dropping form full to 1 every now and again happened on both my iphone X.

Mine also does this. It also happened once in awhile with my other phone. Turning WiFi on and off will fix it for me too.

Sometimes my X too. Also, when on wi-fi I have to disconnect and reconnect wi-fi because it gets very very slow, takes forever for web pages to load, Facebook, Games, etc. I know it's not my home wi-fi because only my X does this. Not my PS4, Smart TVs, MacBook, etc.

seems for me it cant get an ip address quick enough on 5ghz network so gets assigned 169 turning wifi off and on fixes this. It happens when it moves from the router downstairs and the box upstairs. Its very annoying so i have had to use 2.4ghz instead.
