Hey guys
Quick question
Don’t know if anybody has noticed
When setting my phone on wireless charging overnight , I’m waking up to find it’s brigtness down to around zero....
Perhaps it’s cause it was in low power mode when I put it on the charger ... ANY IDEAS ???

Why’d you expect your phone to stay on high brightness when it’s not being used? That sounds to me like simple battery management system.

It’s possible ...
But the phone doesn’t do that when plugging in... so why the difference for wireless ...battery wouldn’t need to be managed if unit plugged ... just hoping somebody else who is wireless charging an x overnight has thoughts too

I’d put it down to the fact that wireless charging is slower than wired one and keeping screen brightness to low helps charging the device a bit faster.

Happens to me sometimes too while wireless charging, and happens when I toggle airplane mode and change the date/time settings. It will cause my screen to dim to the lowest setting, and when I try to adjust the brightness it doesn't respond for about 20 seconds. I'm just chalking it up to a software issue. But this issue has never happened on my other iPhones.
