iPhone X Wireless charging on metallic surface causes phone to move

Hello!

Wondering if anybody else is experiencing this...

I was charging my iPhone on my new spiffy (

And it was fine on a table. But then I went to another room and the table in there is brass or copper or something and now the phone literally wont stay on the charger. It kinda works its way off. Anybody else seeing this?

Lol I guess the induction charging current goes upwards to the phone above but also downwards too, so any conductive surface the charger is sitting on will become ‘live’.

As an experiment, can you charge your phone on the same table while licking the table with your tongue and post the results?

Yeah i kinda wonder if its just bouncing off the phone and onto the surface pushing the phone off. I doubt I would be able to place the phone on the bottom of the charging unit but ill try.
