iPhone X won't auto-lock when upright

Weird bug. On 11.2. Seems that when the phone is propped up (on a stand, etc.) it will not auto-lock. Taking it off the stand and onto a flat surface works fine with auto-lock.

Have auto-lock set to 30 secs.

Anyone else have this issue?

Does it do this when Attention Aware mode is off? What about raise to wake?
