Swappa is usually a good indicator of market value any particular time.. Check it out when you want to sell and see what people are getting for your device..
Locally, I doubt you would make $600.00 without someone making a low offer. Your best option for the ‘Max dollar’ would be online, but that is still three months away, and it is difficult to gauge the market sometimes.
I’ve sold a phone on swappa.com. It was pretty easy to do and had no issues at all from the buyer. I think with any online auction type of site it’s always a YMMV situation though.
All my old phones go through Swappa and never an issue.. I list them on Craigslist too but I’ve found a lot of flakey people on that site..
It’s Like any site that you sell one, there will be risks you take when selling to a complete stranger online. But if I were to sell online, I would prefer Swappa, because it’s more tech related than eBay is. If you decide to sell online, be very descriptive, take lots of photos And just use your best caution.
Don't sell an iPhone on CL. The meeting could go bad. Other stuff is fine to sell on CL (cars, furniture & junk) but not iPhones.
but there's a real risk that they get the phone and you don't get the cash. It's called robbery.
That’s not the best solution when generating a number for texting, because both numbers better generated from this application, may show as a spam number, which if some use apps to block spam numbers, the number never actually shows on the iPhone, as they are blocked due to the ‘Spam block application.’
