This is my current iPhone 6 plus after watching porn videos and videos of apknite in the bathroom and I think this is the time I need to upgrade to a newer iPhone. I was thinking about getting the XR over the X or XS. Does anyone have the XR yet? What are your opinions? Which newer phone is better? (I like the lower price of XR)

I have had the XR. Idk if it’s my eyes or what but I think the screen is pretty bad. I see pixels and the colors aren’t as great as an oled screen. I will say the colors are pretty good for an lcd though. Other then the screen I actually thought it was one of the best iPhones I’ve ever owned. It’s a great size, powerful, and the battery was fantastic. I may be picky but I need at least a 1080p screen and oled.

As someone who has had the XS, XS Max and now the XR, I definitely recommend it. The battery life alone is worth having. I loved the Max because of the size but in all due honesty I cant really see the whole difference in screen size. A lot of people are bashing the XR because it is cheaper but so what? The specs show that the XR is an amazing phone. It's easy to handle and hold, the processor is fast, the camera takes amazing photos just like the XS and XS Max. You cannot go wrong with the XR.

I have both! Well had. XS for 1 day and returned it for an XR. Is there something specific you wanna know?
I just want to know about the experience when using it, screen, performance, battery, ...

You should watch YouTube videos on the Xr. The consensus is it’s generally a good phone. Sometimes emails attachments are blurry and you have to zoom to read (my personal experience) That my issue with it. Screen quality is still great, sound is great, battery is great etc

It’s an excellent phone but there will be a new one in 2 months. So look for a discounted price, or wait a while for XR2.

FYI if you take your phone to the Apple store and tell them what you’ve been doing with your phone they’ll treat it as a biohazard and won’t touch it with a 10 foot pole. Hell, I wouldn’t either.

Screen: XS is more yellow, there is a lot of discussions about this in this forum, however it might be some variance in the displays. But my XS was noticeably warm. I had to turn off true tone while my ipad and my current XR have it on. On the XS, skin tone looked more reddish/peachy and therefore more natural while on the XR skintone is yellower. XS was also darker for the same brightness level. I guess bc of the darker black OLED has. The XS has a bigger ppi, but i didnt notice it even when i compared them together. Note though, its something i found out after returning the XS so i didnt actively look for screen sharpness, they looked the same to me. I hated XS screen at first but now I actually kinda missed the warmer display. The black was indeed darker and the XR is a little more washed out but XR looks better than my sister’s 6s.

Battery: i only had my XS for a day so i cant tell if XR is significantly better or just a lil bit better. My XR definitely the most apple has made in its history. I have had 5S and the battery was atrocious. But I was just not really impressed by the XR compared to people here bc my previous cheap android and iPad Pro have a long battery similar to XR so the XR doesnt really wow me tbh bc im used to it. But it lasts 12-18 hours not including sleeptime. 6 hours ago i charged it to 72% and right now it is in 38%.

Performance: honestly i didnt notice anything different. However I have visited apple authorized resellers to compare it side by side. Weirdly enough, XR was faster at launching apps. But i dont know which one is better at reloading safari. My XR reloads safari tabs especially after playing games/big apps.

Anything else: i didnt care about 3d touch. I think long touch is better. XS had quieter speakers but im not sure if mine was a defect but i thought it was quiet for $1000 devices i actually thought maybe it was supposed to sound natural lol. For size XS is definitely better. XR is heavy and my fingers are sore right now from typing these while lying on bed. Both of them are bad for single hand typing but im quite short and have tiny hands. Camera, XS was better looking but im not sure if its the camera or oled. Xr is grainier but photography is not my hobby.

In the end, XS is a better phone though for the screen, camera, and design (i like the black camera panel, match any case colors) but it just doesnt worth $250 for me... maybe $100-150? I returned the XS bc i regret spending that much $$$.... Besides the features are something youll forget after 2 weeks of use. Keep in mind i used a $250 android phone before this so clearly fancy specs and features arent my concern...
