I got my mom a iPhone XR last February on IUP.

what seems cheaper do I replace the screen for 30 cause I accidentally damaged it while cleaning the screen ?

Or do I upgrade her in February when she upgrade eligibility?

my dad says it expensive I told him why did you put her on IUP

tell me if I upgrade her would I get any refund from the Apple care plus and what would I be paying if I do the upgrade it self ?
 
So is she going to upgrade in February 2020? And is this the one you are soo concerned about that.screen scratch? I highly doubt Apple will care about the scratch on the screen when she trades in the XR when she upgrades. I've had few scratches on the phone when I traded in my XS Max for the 11 Pro Max on IUP and they did not even care about scratches. You should be fine.

Now if that scratch really annoys her, then probably best to send $30 to get that screen replaced or just put a screen protector over it as you won't notice the scratch when the screen protector is over it (unless it's a deeper groove).

Yes that’s ends the 12 months payments if I upgrade will I get any refund from Apple care and how much would be paying for the 11 on IUP.

No you will not get a refund from apple care plus if you trade your iUP phone to upgrade to a new iUP phone. You are essentially closing out a loan and starting a new loan.

So basically I’m paying half the Apple care plus and returning the old phone for a new set of Apple care plus with phone a new phone.?
 
Apple will have you fix before you turn in or pay the Accidental Damage fee at turn in. So, fix now and upgrade in Feb
 
Here the scratch I actually had to remove the temper glass to show you it.

I will do that I’m on my 6Th screen protector cause it doesn’t stick on the sides.


anyway my Apple store over the phone says it’s covered and apple support mixed result I took a photo of it for my reference.

not the whole family but me and mom run with the issue cause we don’t take care of our devices.
