Hi, my iPhone XR no longer charges via the (non-Apple) USB cable that worked fine for a year, after the iOS 12.4.1 update.

I tried different chargers, but that doesn't matter. I had no choice than to use a wireless charger. Do others have the same experience? Quote annoying.

I've had that before too, so I checked for that.. Clean as a whistle. Even 'scrubbed' it out with a rubber toothpick thingy, to get the last speck of dust out.

Hmm, have you tried a different cable? I just had a cable that would randomly stop working, using a new one fixed that.

Now also tried the original cable that came with it. That works fine, even with a non-Apple charger.

Just in time for new iPhones.

This has happened a few times with my wife and kids, worth trying a different cable.

Also, try a different USB power adapter, I have had one of these break before.

Do you mean a different cable worked okay?

I would be money that your non-Apple lightning cable is bad.
