My mom iPhone XR zagg glass + was scratched but at end it was cracked.

I removed it and when I was cleaning the display on the bottom portion there a scratch there after using the wet wipe zagg provided to install the new one And the scratch looked like a scribble but it was in a circle.

Would Apple replace the display or is it cosmetic ?

What should I do ?

Can zagg pay for the damage ?

Yeah no one is going to compensate for it. Any dust peices stuck under that wipe will scratch the screen. That's why I only use the dust stickers that come with a screen protector. I never wipe down with a cloth

So Apple care plus doesn’t cover this even if I pay them the 30?

Apple care does cover this from my experience if it really does bother you. Not sure where you got the 30 number. i had a ton of micro scratches on a 7 plus and it was 99$ with AC. They don’t fix the screen they just give you a replacement device. Not a new retail one

I mean pay the 30 for a screen replacement.

From my understanding if it's just the screen, they can just replace the screen only for $29 bucks. Now if they had to replace the entire device that's $99.

I'm pretty sure you can use 1 of the 2 incidents from your AppleCare Plus to get the screen replace. Just take it to the Genius Bar let them know that you want to use 1 of the 2 incidents. However, to be honest, I'd probably just not worry too much about about it and maybe wait till it actually cracks and then use the incident? I mean if you put a screen protector over it, can you see the scratches still?

You can get an express replacement done. If it’s only cosmetic it would be free.

That doesn't matter in store if they feel you have a cosmetic issue.

Visible scratches in the display area are not "cosmetic issues". I have never had them deny a claim for one.

It was really your fault. You used way too much pressure and scrubbed, apparently in a circular motion. You're trying to sweep the debris off, not scrub. Lesson learned: never use pressure when cleaning optics, it's the job of the chemicals (alcohol) to detach and dissolve the dirt.

I will just wait before the Warrenty ends to bring it to Apple store.

Another benefit is that you can sometimes get them to swap the battery for free at the same time.
