iPhone 11 Pro Iphone XR to Iphone 11 Pro Max

Has anyone upgraded from the XR to the 11 pro max? I am considering it even though I love the XR and it is only a year old. Positives for me would be the increased screen size, improved camera and screen quality. I am not sure there is enough there to justify it so keen to get opinions. I went from the 6 to the XR so it was a step up in pretty much every way (speed, battery, storage, size, faceid, better design, louder speakers and the list goes on) so do wonder whether I would be completely underwhelmed.

How much better is the camera, for example?

I’ll say this I my self notice a pretty big difference from handling my wife’s standard iPhone 11 vs handling my 11 Pro Max.

They are more similar than different at a distance, but upon holding both instantly better overall build quality, much thinner bezels, better water proofing, better dust resistant, and steel construction were all good enough reasons for me. The much higher resolution with over doublet he pixels and solid pitch black blacks make the phone just feel more premium in hand.

Everytime I pick up my wife’s iPhone 11, the difference is immediately noticed between itself and my Pro Max.

I have zero buyers remorse, and I do not need to justify anything. it is what it is!

at the end of the day the 11 and pro are totally different in feel, and look, and even display quality.

So with you owning an XR I’d say if you want it, and can afford it then why not?

I had a brand new iPhone 8 Plus 256gb that I returned so i could pre-order the pro Max.

The build quality of the 11 pro max is really good . When you’re holding it ,you can tell it’s a well built device. It has some heft to it but after a while you get use to it . I went from the iPhone X, then to the iPhone 11 and then to the iPhone 11 Pro Max. The 11 went to my mom .

I can see people trying to examine and compare these phones side by side in a store, and saying “there’s not much difference“

But once you get used to a 11 Pro Max , and then handle a iPhone 11 the difference is just like holy crap... these are totally different build quality !!
