That's what I hoped for. Always thought that my 6s photo's where too dark compared to my previous LG G4. Photo's with the G4 were just so much better.

Nice comparison. I have a 6S and was looking at the XR. Too expensive for me to upgrade at this time but it's nice to see the XR take some decent photos.

Considering the camera in the 6s is a significant improvement over your 6, the Xr will be a nice upgrade and will not disappoint you..

One question: did you have Smart HDR turned on for the XR's shots? I'm guessing yes, based on the way it seems to be handling sky/light sources.

Yes, I had smart HDR enabled. Here are 3 of these pictures without smart HDR
