iPhone XR iPhone Xr vs Pentax K-5

Hi, I share pictures taken with iPhone Xr and Pentax K-5.
Photos are not edited.
Pentax K-5 cost about $1750 at the end of 2010.
Photos were taken in camera app on iPhone and in “green” automatic regime on K-5. I had smart HDR enabled on Xr.

I could not share it in forum, so I used flickr.

My comment: iPhone is much nearer to reality. K-5 has better details and zoom. iPhone Xr is better in I think every other way. iPhone photos are the first half.

Yeah my iPhone can't keep up with my A7r2 paired with a Leica Summilux 28 either.

However the weight of the latter is another story.

The XR is good for sure, but it has nothing on my X-T2. In some conditions it may give me more dynamic range than the X-T2 would if I shoot JPG, but the Fuji RAW files are awesome. My X-T2 will be used just as much as before. The photos I do take with my phone will be better however, but my previous phone wasn't great in the camera department.

If you shoot RAW or at least get out of auto you could do better with your Pentax.

Well thats your problem right there...if you're gonna spend $1750 on a camera, at least learn how to use it properly. If you want to shoot automatic might as well just get a regular point and shoot digital or stick to your phone.
