Lol it's a waste of time arguing with you. Just to clear up a few points because I really don't have the time to go through your entire post. I said imminent one plus 6 ( I forgot to put 6t), but that's what I meant when I said imminent. You can go and google that design and see how small the notch is.
Uh-huh.
Well you replied to my post...so kind of looked like you wanted to argue.
Ofcourse you forgot the t, it happens all the time.
But it’s still a notch.
I most certainly will not get the pixel 3xl nor why phones with a notch so big. The most I will compromise on is how it's done on the essential or one plus 6t.
And that’s your prerogative , though a bit hypocritical going from no notch to a small notch just the same, but as you later stated.
Your used to comprise.
Well unlike you I am critical of all things, because nothing is perfect. I know in your mind the iPhone is perfect so you don't have to tell me. Prime example, I would still love a headphone Jack, but the options are getting more and more limited. So I don't like that the upcoming one plus 6t won't have a headphone Jack but I'll have to compromise. Why? Because I'm not a fan of samsung or LG UI.
As you should be critical since your use to compromising with android handsets so many choices never the right one.
Never said anything was perfect, that’s your words not mine, critical as you claim to be, not very thorough. Unlike android, apple’s hardware matches the ecosystem. It great, there really isn’t any competition in that regard.
Since you are never critical of anything you like, then I am going to guess everything you have bought initially in your mind was perfect. How someone can think like that imo is beyond me. I can't think of 1 electronic I've liked or purchased that I couldn't say atleast 1 negative thing about.
Yeah, that’s the thing don’t think you purchased that many electronic devices, If you have you might have a different perspective.
Personally I have. But let’s stick to mobile phones.
Here is a small sample of my personal collection, and I mean small because I have been buying nearly every high end phone I could get my hands since 1996 (except Japanese phones though I did snag a couple).
I believe this was before the release of the first iPhone.
Kind of taught me a thing or two about the “perfect phone” , I will give you a hint it doesn’t exist. One of the reasons I’m not really critical, been there, done that.
Electronics, cars, property etc. Etc.
It either works or it doesn’t.
But hey I don’t really compromise.
Btw if you go into the alternative section with the pixel 3xl thread, you will see me as well as many other Android lovers bashing it. Check my post history.
Not really interested in android after my favorite phone brand went out of business.
And lately with all the crap google was pulling, I closed all my gmail accounts. Switched to duck duck go for search. And bing translate instead of googles version, this turned out great since bing translate offered an extension in the share menu, so I never have to open the app.
Didn’t do this out of paranoia or fear of wherever consumers are afraid of these days, I did it because they repeatedly lied about it.
Once trust is gone, I take my business elsewhere.
But I am interested in hardware, always have and will.
Enjoy whatever compromise you land on.
You know best.
