iPhone Xs battery case Issue

Been having trouble with my iPhone Xs battery case after having it for the past couple of months. It seems like I have to press the top and bottom of the case towards the iPhone for the charging to start activating. It’s almost as if the lightning connector at the bottom of the case doesn’t have a good enough connection to the iPhone.

Anyone else have the same issue with the battery case and/or idea on how to fix this?

I’ve had this same issue ever since I got the case since it came out. I’ve already swapped out one under warranty and continue to have the same issues with the replacement case.
