i was having issues with bluetooth on iPhone XS, went to Genius bar and Apple sent it to Depot to have the logicboard replaced. so with that it came with a new IMEI. so my question is since it's a tmobile phone with EIP do i need to report it to them or can they detect that i have new IMEI? Thanks.

Didn’t they have any stock to give you a replacement at the spot?

From what they told me, it was in their system that it has to go to their depot for repair. Replacement wasn't an option.

That’s strange they would give a replacement at the spot since it’s hardware issue and yes T-Mobile can detect new IMEI
