I was wondering what I can do to keep the shipper (UPS) from stealing my iPhone this year. I was delivered a cut open resealed box last year (I watched the driver place the box on my doorstep so it was NOT a porch pirate.

I hate to have a repeat this year if I order this year. any Tips?

Ps. I ordered a 2 generation AirPods this year and it was never delivered by FedEx and Apple replaced them.

Then pick it up from a Sprint store, FedEx pickup location or UPS store.
This is what I would do. I would contact Sprint though and see if they have any restriction on packages. Verizon ships their phones via Fedex and from my understanding, they won't let customers hold for pick up until 1st attempt delivery was made and no one was available to accept it, only then you could request a hold for pick up.

For UPS shipments, I have mine redirected to the main UPS receiving center for pick up and then I drop by first thing in the morning on the way to work. It never goes on a truck so no one can take it and I don't have to hang out at home waiting on it. It's easy to do and I've done it 3 years in a row now. The only hard part is getting the tracking # from Apple since they tend to be slow in updating the shipping info with the order. Just read a few of the threads around here on how to get your tracking # directly with UPS using your Apple order# and you're good. In fact, I'm sure there will be a thread pop up on how to do it since some of us track all the way from China.

Same here. It's a great way to get your new iPhone if you're close enough to a UPS hub.

I only trust UPS, but I can have my phone or any other Apple products delivered straight to my workplace, which I find works for me personally, plus I trust the people who would sign for me if I’m not present.

You can sign up for UPS my choice and it will appear as soon as a label is made.
