Other iPhone XS Max 256gb or iPhone 11 Pro Max 64gb

I want to change my 8+ to a max size phone. Can’t decide if I should go with the XS Max 256gb or 11 Pro Max 64gb. I’m only using 38gb of the 64gb of my 8+. Should I get the higher capacity phone previous gen phone in case I need the space in the future or stick to 64gb which is plenty enough for my current use?

iCloud storage is available for as little as .99 per month. I’d get the newer phone and use iCloud if you need it.

Do you shoot a lot of video? If you plan on shooting in 4K then I highly recommend the 256GB iPhone. Plus you will have a better resell value down the road whenever you do upgrade.

I would go 11 Pro Max without a second thought, the camera is miles better, as is the battery. You will still have plenty of room to last you a few years, and can go bigger storage in 3 years for your next upgrade.

The largest capacity one... in the future a XS Max 256GB will cost the same or even more on resale than a 64GB 11 Pro.

Upgraded mine to XS Max 256gb from the X 64gb for £800gbp. Chuffed to bits with it specially as i get £450 for my X 64gb on eBay.

Get Pro Max. Get the 64GB. I can do with 64GB easy. Still have 39GB left. I have kids. Many videos and pictures. I pay the .99 for 50GB's. Easy. Done deal. BTW I upgraded from XS Max.

I've had both – 64gb pro max is much better. If you're already using your phone's memory to capacity, then perhaps pay for storage as others have said, or just download it offline.

11 Pro Max. Easy.
You don't need 256GB. In exchange, you get a much better camera on the 11 Pro compared to the XS Max.
