iPhone XS Max iPhone XS Max Message Quick Reply Bug

Got 2 iPhone XS Max running iOS 12.1.2 and both exhibit the same issue.

iMessage comes in and displays on the home screen. I 3D touch to open the quick reply box but I can’t send the reply because the send button does nothing when pressed.

If I re-boot the phone it may work once or twice before failing again.

Reply with message is enabled in settings.

Anybody else noticed this?

I just used it and didn’t have any problem. I’m on 12.1.2 (16C104)

My mate has that and his is OK too. Wonder if this is just an XS Max issue - dual sim.
