First off, I cannot believe how much faster my new XS Max is. Of course, I’m coming from a iPhone 6 Plus.

Here is my question what are the two little on off switches underneath the battery icon? I googled it and couldn’t And couldn’t find an answer.

OK, I have two questions I lied. How do I post a Screenshot of what I tried to describe above. Is it because I’m a newbie and don’t have permission to post photos?

Screen shot by pressing power and volume up at the same time.

Is the phone supposed to do landscape mode when on the home screen like the + phones do? Mine won’t. Hmmm.

It does not support landscape mode on the home screen.

You tried the upload a file option and it won't let you? If so, why not try uploading it to imgur and post the link here?

Currently, nope. IMO, I'd always keep my plus's orientation locked because it bugged me when it'd move to landscape, was never really a huge fan of that feature.

It's just letting you know you can access control center from there. Swipe down from there once and you won't see it again.
