The display quality on the phone is amazing, but like the iPhone X, it seems to be plagued with OLED issues. My iPhone XS Max shows striations (lines) and uneven uniformity across the screen when displaying a dark screen on low brightness - especially the clock and watch apps. Am I alone?

Please post pictures so we can tell. As far as I know, you have a faulty screen and you'll easily get a replacement.

you arent alone, mine does it too. Its a lottery

If I wasn't IUP, Id replace it until I got a good one but that requires them closing the loan, setting up new loan, inputting social etc. Too much of a headache.

Not easy to see from that image. You might see it if you turn brightness all the way up, go to the same empty World Clock app, and then evoke Control Center just enough to show a grey screen (keep your finger down and don't let go when pulling Control Center down).. you can get the lines to show up...
