My X out performs my Xs Max in areas that have weak signals. When I go out of town, I leave my Max behind and use the X instead. The Max is basically useless when the signal is weak. Qualcomm is still laughing as APPLE came crawling back to them and paying them billions.

In the end, I couldn't care less about the signal strength of Android phones, or any other hardware feature that they have. Android is crap. It's crap coated crap with crap filling.

I like the NeXT logo.
I have manuals, stickers, etc. I had NeXT Cube with a NextDiminsion board. But I digress.

I think you are incorrect about Android being crap.
More than 50% of smartphone users disagree.
I happen to like Android because I can "own" my phone.
Unless you can have root privileges on your phone you don't own it.
Apple, Samsung, etc owns your phone. They decide when and if you get an update.
They can push things to your phone, even if you don't want them.
U like unlocked android because I can own my phone and I get to decide how it behaves.
You cannot do that with an iPhone. You must trust Apple to always "do the right thing".

Besides that, if I describe an iPhone and an Android phone in generic terms you would be hard pressed to tell me which hardware is which.

Both Apple and Android have "borrowed" features from the other and it make both platforms pretty solid.

You’ve hit the nail on the head. Android is a malware infested mess.

Really? I don't have an issue with malware on my Android phone.

We don't use 4 in rest of the world so I cannot say about it, but I have plenty of experience with 3 and its absolutely horrible with XS Max. I have compared speeds indoors and outdoors and X is much better compared to XS Max.

X, Samsung S9 and S10 generally has better speeds in same spots compared to XS Max. I have not used LG or OnePlus phones so I cannot say how well they perform.

You appear to be above average in your knowledge of the Android system. Thus you avoid problems that less knowledgeable users can encounter. Malicious apps are much more of an issue with Android than with iOS, from what I understand. I recently read that malicious Android apps, removed by Google, will frequently reappear under a different name within 24 hours. A more typical user probably doesn't have the self-defense skills that you appear to have, leading to much more malware via malicious Android apps, than would be the case with iOS apps. Worldwide, according to Kaspersky Labs, about 7.6% of Android devices are rooted. Other figures I have seen range up to 27%, but that seems very high. In any case the majority of Android users appear to not have rooted their device, making them more vulnerable than you would be.
