I am sure some of you made the switch from an XS Max to a 11 Pro Max.

Curious, besides the camera, would you say the change was worth it (both financially and the new features offered)?

Currently using a Note 10+ as my main. Along with my XS Max used from time to time. A moment ago, I updated iOS, and all the apps. Apple seem to be offering $600, for my XS Max, and I was considering a 11 Pro Max. Hence, my question...

I've been considering the same change, but I have just had a really tough time thinking that I would benefit enough from it. I think I'm going to wait it out until the next one...

This exactly. I'm perfectly fine with keeping my XS Max another year. Battery capacity still shows 100% even though I bought it a year ago in October and the battery still lasts just as it did on day one. It's an amazing phone to this day.

Only thing that I can see different is the camera and it's not worth it to me spending all that money again. Maybe in September I'll see what the new phone brings.

I made the switch, but I was on IUP so it wasn't really a cost decision, more like a decision to rent an iPhone (a newer/better iPhone) for another year, since the cost didn't go up. What I think is better, in no particular order:

- much better battery life
- much better camera
- noticeably better FaceID angles (probably due to the wider angle FaceTime camera)

If I were selling a XS Max at market prices and buying an 11 Pro at list price, it would have been a much harder decision to make.

Had the XS Max...sold that and went to the Note 10+ then sold it. Now on the 11 Pro Max. From XS Max to the 11 Pro Max, the battery life and cameras are the only notable changes. Otherwise, it feels the same as my XS Max.

Battery life is amazing as others stated.
the camera is ridiculous imo. So good.
Cellular is much better in my experience(for those who had antenna issues with the Max).
Probably my favorite iPhone.

I’ll second the main features of battery life and camera, definite improvements. The Face ID is noticeably better with the angles, and the signal is also noticeably improved.

If these are features that are important to you, definitely go for it. If those are too minor, only 9 months or so away from the next

Well, no going back now. Got rid of my Note 10+ (will miss the option to customise), and now have an iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Looking forward to getting back to ‘sharing’ data easily among my iOS devices.

May I ask what you liked/disliked with the Note 10+? What made you come back to Apple devices? Before upgrading to the 11 Pro Max, I was considering switching to Android to test the Note 10+!

I didn't say this before because it's very subjective, but to me the 11 Pro Max feels like a better 'polished,' more integrated piece of hardware. I actually have one of each and have gone back and forth between them some. The 11 PM just feels better.

I loved the Note 10+with the design and endless customizations. But the customizations also was its downside. I had to tweak it so much to get it to where I wanted it to be. Also, the Galaxy Watch just wasn’t on par with the Apple Watch.
