I had asked over in the iPad section. And would also like to post here. For those using the Xs Max do you find you use your iPad less? I understand it depends on what one needs the iPad for however I seem to see a trend of those just needing media consumption and reading seem to be using their iPad less.

haven't owned an ipad since the iphone 6+ came out. I have absolutely no need for it and find myself doing pretty much everything on my XS Max, an iPad would be redundant for me tbh.

My max is why i got the 12.9 as felt my 10.5 become used less as i often used my 10.5 on the sofa But now the Max is what i use for those moments. I use my max more than Any other phone due to the bigger screen.

I mostly use my Xs Max for pretty much everything, ill use the ipad pro 10.5 inch when my Max’s battery is low or to watch a show or movie if im not in front my Lg oled tv :p I also have a Macbook air that i barely touch because of my idevices .

Not really. Whilst the max is bigger than the plus sized iPhones, it’s not my first big phone. I had the 6 plus, 6S plus and 7 plus and before that a few galaxy notes and still used my iPads.

No change for me. I've had the big iPhones since the 6 Plus, and I still use my iPad a great deal with no real drop off in usage quantity or type.

No way for me. Two different devices. My MAX has a big screen but nothing beats the 11”!

In a pinch the MAX does full websites for me but the experience is not the same as on my iPad.

This ^^^ and I'd add that for me even the Mini is a qualitatively different experience than a Plus/Max iPhone. This becomes especially true once you turn the device over into landscape orientation. And once you get to one of the "full size" iPads (9.7/10.5/especially 11) there's no comparison.

I use my iPad when I’m on the couch and use my Max when I’m in bed. That’s basically how I use them.
