trying to restore max from a backup but it doesn't pop up in iTunes. have the latest version of iTunes, what can I do?
 
I'm having a similar issue. I'm getting a message that I need to update software on the Mac, but it doesn't specify what exactly. I'm using Mac OS High Sierra 10.12.3; not sure if this is a factor or not.
