How much do you think we can expect the iPhone Xs plus to cost in the U.K., this is the phone I am going to be getting, could the Xs plus cost £999 or do you think it will be more than that?
Oh that’s great, thanksThe upcoming iphone plus 64ssd will have the current iphone X price
Probably £999 (64GB) £1,149 (128 or 256GB - watch out I think they could be a bit sneaky with this wanting to upsell the people who currently have 256 to 512) £1,299 to £1,399 (512GB)
I can’t see them doing 64gb for the plus model, as it’s really for more power users really
I expect 128, 256 and possibly 512. I say possibly because 512 is ridiculous in a phone but then the new note 9 has it
I'm afraid that's the way of it with tech - if you want to be on the bleeding edge you can expect to absolutely pay through the nose for it. To a large degree I don't think the X was priced unreasonably, in that they probably don't make more money on it relative to what it costs compared to any of their other products - at the end of the day it had significant R&D costs associated, and the component prices were up significantly over the iP7. With that in mind, and a large chunk of the R&D cost now probably paid back, and the component/ tooling prices settling in I'm not at all surprised they can shave off £100 from the price without it denting their margins. What's disappointing is last year's X price of £1149 for 256GB now gets you a plus size IF RUMOURS ARE TRUE, while the X 5.8"now comes down in price.
So people where charged for being early to the NEW design (Although it was claimed it was expensive for the parts).
This year they want to push people to any versions of the Oled as cheaper than last years model X.
Which means, then more money than the alleged release 6.1"arrives a month or so after the Oled.
They are a business, so I cannot fault them and nobody is "forced to purchase"
I'm actually considering taking the HIT on my 256GB X buying the PLUS out right again and keeping for 3-4 years, the prices are getting ridiculous and considering I tested my 7 V THE x the speed difference was NOT noticeable.
I think they might try 64/128/512 this year - that fits the upsell pattern that they've been using since dropping 32GB with the iP6S - they've gotten people used to 256GB, now they will take it away so you have to drop down to 128GB for the same money or go up to 512 and pay more. That's precisely the reason why Apple won't offer 128GB for the 6.5" iPhone.
By offering 64/256/512, Apple encourages consumers to pay +$150 and get the mid-tier storage model.
Apple has been playing this game since day one. They never offer a comfortable amount of storage on the base model in order to push consumers up a step.

I guess we will see, shaking up the storage tiers with a view to corralling people to a more expensive model is well established behaviour from Apple at this point though. Particularly if they are already splashing £1,150 on the 256GB iPhone X, which likely indicates they’re not too concerned about price. Many iPhone buyers don’t know how much storage they need. They buy the middle tier because the base storage feels too small and the top end feels too much. Fast food restaurants use the same strategy. They’re not expecting many people will order the triple patty burger but it exists to encourage consumers to order the double patty.
As a result, Apple will sell 64/256/512. This gives them an opportunity to charge +$150 for 256GB, instead of merely +$100 for 128GB.
Time to sell existing iPhone X 256Gb now to get best money for next model.
Hello, so anybody knows the price of iPhone X s ? ( In Europe so please the price in euros ) I want to know the price of 64GB storage
