Hi all
New member here, was just wanting to know if anyone else with an Xs has a gap at the bottom of the phone between where the metal connects to the glass back. It’s smooth all around the rest of the phone but there’s a gap at the bottom where the 2 connect which creates quite a sharp edge and I don’t know if this is part of the phone or a manufacturing defect.
Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

If you have a concern take it back to an Apple store and compare it to display models. Then decide if you want a replacement or not..
I compared it to an iPhone X belonging to one of my family and there’s is smooth where my Xs is rough. It’s not a major issue but ultimately if I’m paying £1000 for a phone, I’m expecting it to have flawless build quality.

Unfortunately nothing mass produced would be flawless when it comes to every unit. Even much more expensive cars and boats and planes and even houses are not flawless.

I’ve contacted apple and they have said it’s a defect and I’m to bring it in for service.
