You tried without your current screen protector?

If you’ve done that, try Reset All Settings. Or Reset Face ID before that.

Yes. Also tried resetting Face ID, no use :/ I didn’t drop it since last night or anything and my warranty is expired:(

Try reset all settings.

Try a phone restart before that.

If the above fails, you’ll need to get your display replaced. That’s almost USD 300

Happened to me the other day on my iPhone 11. Turned it off and then back on and it was fine (i.e. Have you tried turning it off and then on again ;) ).

Same thing as well - before just rebooting first I went to try to setup an alternate face (my facial hair has been getting long?) and it just said FaceID is not available. Happened shortly after the update to iOS 13.5 so might be a software bug. Hasn't happened again since I rebooted it.
