I was kinda ticked when the Verizon guy felt the need to unbox my new iPhone. It's part of the experience, cutting and ripping off that clear as glass plastic, pulling the lid off the box and peeling the screen protectors off. Did your sister get her own iPhone? I'd be mad too, don't touch my ****! I paid for it with my hard earned cash, I want it how I want it.

OP is your sister hot? If so I'll be happy to take her off your hands for you

This is an actual pic of the OP's sister.

Some of u ae hypocrites. Most of you would also be pissed if your iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, etc. had been opened. As far as going off on parents, that's a no no.

This is an utterly middle class problem but you know, I'd feel aggrieved too; the whole unboxing adds to the overall experience and excitement of receiving a new iPhone.

Apple spends a lot designing these perfectly formed little boxes. I think it's only right that you would want to open it and set up your phone.

In a global sense it really doesn't matter but in a micro sense I can understand your upset!

come on men.. really?

there much more important things in life that to open a package

there things i really dislike, and those kids who posts on ytube the opening of their new gadgets hahahaahha what a bunch of morons

There are people without limbs.....

People are raped and murdered every day (and according to the VP it might be my fault) so not unboxing your phone may not be that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things.

If i can add a small life lesson, if you want total control quit relaying on others, you should have had your phone sent to you.

fixed

Reminds me of the recordings of kids going crazy on Xbox when they're shot on Halo or CoD.

How much of a geek could your brother possibly that he would fly off the handle for something so silly. I take it he's never unwrapped a girls clothing if he is that worked up about unboxing an electronic device :p

x2.

Not to mention going off on his mom after she just dropped some serious coin on the kids's new iphone. That's why they were shipped to his moms house, i'm sure she paid for them. I'm bet the credit card on his itunes account is his moms credit card too. Kids have no idea how many hours they would have to WORK in order to pay for a new iphone. Kids are so spoiled nowadays. Much different than my childhood and i'm only 30.

When I came home last year with my iPhone 4 my mom was like "oh what'd you get?" and while I was taking off my jacket and scarf etc (this was December), she opened the box and took it out.

I wasn't mad and didn't say anything but I kinda like to be the first one to open things like that. Just the process of opening the box and being the first to take it out and hold it is exciting, especially since it was kind of my Christmas present for myself.

I wouldn't over-react like that though lol

You know, it sucks that someone opened your gadget when you were looking forward to opening it yourself and I could understand why someone could get upset at the situation. But there is definitely no need to go off on your own sister and mom like that.

You could have explained your point of view in an adult manner and moved on.

You probably hurt the feelings of those who love you and I hope that once you calm down you go back and apologize. You never know what's going to happen tomorrow, don't ever put yourself in a situation where you will regret your actions.

this.

but I'm confused. if you ordered four iPhones, and your mom opened hers, then three were left for you, your brother and your sister... so wasn't one of them hers to open? o_O

Ok well my sister opened my bros iPhone and her iPhone. so three of them were opened. the only one left is mine to open. And for anyone who thinks i am disrespectful to my mother, i never ever yell at her she is the most precious person in the entire world, i would do anything for her. my bro and i were just a lil mad, i apologized to her.
