hello all. I plugged my iPhone12 into my Macbook Pro (2015 retina) via USB to charge. The charging icon keeps blinking on and off (charging/not charging). Also, if I open Music, the phone keeps appearing and disappearing from the device list.

I have tried 2 cables, one brand new. And I have tried both USB ports on the laptop.

If I plug the phone into a wall charger or battery pack, it works just fine.

Thoughts?

Macbook is latest Big Sur, iPhone is IOS14.4

What charge level was the phone on? If it's low that would explain the device disconnects as the phone will try to auto sync then fail as the battery doesn't have enough charge. I had the same issue on my 12 Pro when the battery was around 10%. Charged it up to 30% on the wall plug and it then synced fine.
